Braves

It was a hot, sticky day at the Atlanta Braves game. Thankfully Mark had tickets that got us into an air conditioned room with a great view of the field. At the top of the stadium they have a fun area for kids to play. It was fun to see Carmella run the bases.

[Carmella wanted to catch a ball. She kept reaching out her hands and stood at the fence for a really long time. She said: "I have to catch a ball first before we go."]

Weekday at the Zoo

Our neighbor's daughter, Mallory, is home from college for a portion of the summer. Carmella simply adores her. Since we have passes to the zoo we are able to take guests with us whenever we want. So last week we took Mallory along with us. We all had such a good time.

[This photo was taken just before one of the goats stood up and took off, knocking Carmella over. She has a little scrape on her toe that she is so proud to say happened when the goat knocked her down.]

Nature Center

We've been so busy lately with home renovation projects and sleepless nights due to our little ones, namely Leo. However with all that is happening around here, we still manage to get out and about on the weekends. We recently found this little treasure...the Chattahoochee Nature Center... just a few minutes from our house.
